lack of technology usage - Failure of Indian governance management

     If we talk about technology, then India will be considered in one of the leading countries and in the contemporary world economy India is the largest exporter of IT. While India has reached the moon and Mars on the one hand, on the other hand millions of Indians are still demanding a better future with good jobs and a decent standard of living. Due to not fully utilization of technology in India corruption, financial scam, crime and delays in government work, etc. problems arise. With the help of correct use of technology, we can prevent government employees to support in wrong deeds or do wrong deeds.

     It’s true that from last few year Indian government focusing on an implement of smart governance in India. Smart governance facilitates for better planning and decision making. It’s helping to improving democratic processes and transforming the ways that public services are delivered. Below are the steps taken by government apply smart governance:

Ø  Link aadhar system with ration card, bank account and mobile connection

Ø  One window for multiple approval

Ø  Online Service

Ø  Digital India campaign

Ø  Introduce E-Governance

     However the government is already working with the help of technology toward revolutionary changes in government structure still government should take more effective dictions to succeed e-governance. In my opinion below actions will help to implement smart governance more effectively.

Ø  Security and accuracy of data: Since aadhar system playing a important role in this process government must be sure that make it mandatory for everyone as well as it capture accurate information. Government also needs to take care security of this system.

Ø  Link with all necessary system: Here aadhar system has been already linked by the government with ration cards, bank account, mobile connection, but there are many other things which not yet linked such as voter Id, driving license and property etc.

Ø  Digitalize government offices: Still, in many government offices work is done traditionally it becomes cause for delayed work, corruption, inaccuracy and issue in identifying pending work. Modernization will help to avoid all this problem.

Ø  Install CCTV camera in all government offices: Many illegal things happen in government office CCTV installation help to avoid it.

Ø  Develop centralize system: Government needs to develop a central system for track government related data and information.
